Therefor Lord shiva went nude to sages as ascetic only wearing Sarp (snake). seeing the nude saint, wife of sages got attracted began to follow that nude saint. Sages became angry to see this. Then Sages lost their patience and cursed the nude saint to lose his Linga.
After this linga of Lord Shiva fell down on the earth. It was just like a earthquake in universe. The whole world trembled. Even God and Goddess were surprised. Lord Vishnu And Brahma came to Lord Shiva. They requested to Lord Shiva that you take your Linga back and save the universe from destruction. Then Lord Shiva took his linga back and promised his divine presence forever as a Jyotirlinga in Darukavana.
