Badrinath Mandir Dham Uttarakhand. Adi Guru Shankaracharya Ji established four Dham in four directions of India. Badrinath Dham is one of them and also one of the four mini Dham of Uttarakhand Devbhoomi and PanchBadri. It is set in the backdrop of the Neelkanth mountain peak between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The Badrinath Temple is built on the Alaknanda River at a height of about ten thousand eight hundred feet from sealable. Tapt Kund in Badrinath Temple

There is a small pool in the Badrinath temple complex “Tapta Kund”. Despite as low temperature or snowfall, the water of The Kund keeps always very hot Therefore people say this pool the living place of Agnidev. Despite being ice-cold, its water always remains very hot and steam comes up. People take a dip in this tank and offer it to their “Pietro”.

Timing of Badrinath Temple and Badrinath Kapat.The temple opens at 4:30 am. After a while, the aarti starts. After Arti Temple opens at 7 am for normal darshan. It closes at 1 – 4 is in the afternoon. After 4 o’clock it opens till at 8:30 p.m. Shayan aarti. The temple of Lord Badrinath also opens like Kedarnath Ji. in the month of March or April and the valves are closes in October-November, due to the month-long snowfall. Therefore Temple is transferred to Lord Narasimha Joshi Math. The doors of Lord Badrinath open on the day of Basant Panchami and close after Diwali or the temple committee decides when to close, according to astrologer Calendar.

How to Reach Badrinath Temple

The nearest airport to Badrinath is the Dehradun Jolly grant. From there you can either book a private helicopter or taxi, bus. By road from Dehradun Distance between Badrinath and Dehradun about 315 km. If you want to come by rail, then you can come to Haridwar by rail. After reaching here, you have to come by road. Haridwar to Badrinath is 318 km and from Rishikesh to Badrinath is 295 km. Apart from this, Uttarakhand Govt. runs the special buses to Badrinath Ji from Pauri, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, Ukhimath, Chamoli, Srinagar, etc.

Tourist Place near Badrinath temple

The Badrinath temple has other interesting sites around 8-10 km.

Mana Gaon is the last village of India. Next, the border of China starts. The Bhim bridge where the Pandavas came and placed a huge rock between the two hills above the Saraswati river so that Draupadi cross the river. You will also find the footprint of Bhima here. There are other more interesting sites. Just like Saraswati origin is where Saraswati comes out. Charan Paduka This is a very beautiful place and is the place of Lord Vishnu’s feet impression here. Mata Murti Temple This temple is dedicated to the mother of Bhagwan Badrinath.

Ghantakaran Temple This temple is dedicated to Kotwal Ghantakarna of Bhagwan Badrinath. Ganesh cave and Vyas cave people belive that in Ganesha and Vyas cave, Lord Ganesha and Maharishi Vyas wrote Mahabharata’s book. Vasundhara is a beautiful waterfall falling from a height of 400 feet. Satopanth is a triangular lake. People believe Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh that all three Lords come here to bath on the day of Ekadasi.
